- 1 tsp grated ginger
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Ghee or oil, as required
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Remove florets, wash cauliflower thoroughly, and grate finely. Keep all spices ready.
- Prepare the Dough: Mix wheat flour and salt, add water gradually, and knead into a soft dough. Rest for 15 minutes.
- Remove Excess Moisture: Sprinkle salt over grated cauliflower, rest for 5 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
- Season the Filling: Mix cauliflower with ginger, green chilli, spices, and adjust salt carefully.
- Divide the Dough: Divide rested dough into equal smooth balls.
- Stuff the Paratha: Roll a dough ball slightly, add filling in centre, seal edges, and flatten gently.
- Roll & Cook: Roll evenly and cook on a hot tawa, applying ghee on both sides until golden spots appear.
- Serve Hot: Serve gobhi paratha hot with curd, pickle, or butter.
