In a mixing bowl, combine singhara atta, mashed potato, yogurt (if using), rock salt, green chilies, and coriander.

Add water gradually and whisk into a smooth, medium-thick batter.

Heat a non-stick tawa and lightly grease with ghee. Pour a ladle of batter and spread into a round cheela.

Cook on medium flame until golden on one side, then flip and cook the other side with a little ghee.

Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve hot with vrat chutney or curd.
