Pasta & Sauce

2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked al dente

3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups milk (warm)

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

Seasoning & Topping

Salt & black pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
2 In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and whisk for 1–2 minutes to make a roux.
3 Slowly add warm milk, whisking until smooth and thickened.
4 Stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
5 Mix cooked macaroni with cheese sauce and transfer to the baking dish.
6 Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and bake 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
7 Serve hot with salad or garlic bread.
