Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan on medium flame.

Add singhare ka atta and roast on low-medium flame until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.

Meanwhile, boil water in a separate pan.

Slowly add the hot water into the roasted flour, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and cook until the halwa thickens and ghee starts leaving the sides.

Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve warm as a vrat prasad.
